The Religious Hospitallers of St. Joseph have always considered it important to conserve their archival heritage. Nevertheless, the French Revolution and three fires in Hotel Dieu, Montreal, brought about the loss of a part of them.
The Archives of the Religious Hospitallers of Saint Joseph are called private Religious Archives. Researchers can have access to a part of them, according to certain conditions, by setting up an appointment with the Director.
