HOW MY FAITH HAS GROWN THROUGH A PARTICULAR EXPERIENCE

My name is Natacha. I am 15 years old and am a native of New Brunswick. To be able to express my faith through this sharing shows me that God has an important place in my heart. I thus think of an experience which I had at thirteen years of age.

The event was a Camp in Pastoral Ministry which was organized by a group of youth from Quebec. This experience really opened my heart to God; without exaggeration, I can even say that this event completely changed my life.

This camp was held in Tracadie, N.B. in August 2001 and the summer afterwards I was involved with this same group of young people in the Brebis de Jésus (Lambs of Jesus) Movement at St. Petronille, Quebec.

Many commitments in my milieu followed. God put in me a fire of joy and filled my heart with his Holy Spirit. This is a great gift for a fifteen year old girl.
