TESTIMONY FROM A YOUNG PERSON IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

My name is Yorayda. I am twenty years of age and was born in Cotui. I come from a very Christian family. I work as a pastoral coordinator in my community and also with catechesis and I like it very much.

For me the vocation day was a very interesting experience, because we were able to share with other young people and some adults our life experience. What caught my attention was to see many young people looking for answers to the many questions we have in our hearts and minds.

What I liked most about the day was the deepening of my knowledge about how much Jesus loves me. It was also special to have celebrated my birthday in Ocoa with the sisters.

I learned that the Lord has plans for me; all I have to do is to wait and live in hope.
