When I entered into the Community, I felt a need to give myself, a call to be sanctified.

Today, I perceive my vocation as a gift from God. God who calls and gives his blessings. This call comes within as I commit myself to follow the Christ who gives me freedom and fills me with peace and joy.

The RHSJ theme «Free to love and to serve» signified for me a way of being and living.
I see our Congregation as a sign of hope along the path we travel together in responding to present and future needs of the people of God, the Church.
I try to discover how I, through my life as an RHSJ, can witness to God in the best way possible.
In my religious life and my actual ministry, I respond to the call which is directed to us by seeking new ways of walking with the most needy.
With the help of God and my community, I try to help young people to seek new ways of being in the reality of their lives.

I heard the call in the events of my daily life. I had no choice but to begin listening to this call. So, I began by observing the life-style of the sisters.
What I discovered was that the RHSJ’s were very human and this was what was most striking to me and attracted me to the Congregation. I learned the importance of human values in a society where religious consecration was a challenge. It is by saying «Yes» in a world searching for justice and taking the path which God maps out for us. This leads us to life, not death.

All opportune situations for growth were provided to me and helped me to choose freely and with love to become an RHSJ.
