Established  as the “Motherhouse” in 1949, it is engaged in diverse services, one of which is the infirmary.  It is a hospitality house, a “home” for all the Sisters in the Congregation.

In light of the charism of the RHSJ, to be house of prayer, hospitality, listening and service for all persons welcomed to the community.

The Motherhouse comprises two communities:  the Nazareth community with 33 Sisters and the Jeanne Mance community with 23 Sisters.
